Colonialtown Square Park Labyrinth

Aerial view of paved labyrinth. Colorful prismatic heart in the center

Dedicated in 2017, the Colonialtown Square Park Labyrinth is a space for park visitors to reflect and engage in walking meditation.

Honoring the 49 individuals taken during the Pulse tragedy on June 12, 2016, the outer ring of the path is surrounded with engraved pavers, each one bearing the name of one of the individuals. The center of the path features a colorful, patchwork heart, known as the Orlando United Heart.

The path itself is a traditional 11-circuit medieval labyrinth design constructed with brick pavers.

Aerial view of labyrinth. Green space outside of the circle, first outer layer is a basic grey path. Next layer in is the maze part with the pavers. The middle is a prismatic, rainbow heart.
