Important Notice To Claimants

It is the goal of the Fund Administrator for the OneOrlando Fund to complete the review of all claims on or before September 26, 2016. The Fund Administrator will authorize the payment to all claimants (with completed eligible claim files) beginning September 27, 2016.

For those claimants who have submitted conflicting claims for deceased victims, I urge that the families of the victims resolve all issues which may exist with regard to who is the person legally responsible for administering the estate of the deceased and therefore eligible to file the claim. Once resolved, these claimants should immediately submit an approved signed Distribution Plan and signed Consent Forms. For claims that remain unresolved on September 26, 2016, the Fund Administrator will recommend to the OneOrlando Board that deposit of the affected funds for these claimants be deposited with the appropriate area probate court in a separate account to be distributed only in accordance with a valid court order.

In the case of submitted claims that are not in conflict but the claimant has not submitted a signed Distribution Plan and/or Consent Forms to the Fund Administrator, those forms must be submitted to the Fund Administrator by the deadline for distribution which is September 26, 2016. For these unresolved claims, the Fund Administrator will recommend to the OneOrlando Board that deposit of the affected funds for these claimants be deposited with the appropriate area probate court in a separate account to be distributed only in accordance with a valid court order.

REMINDER: THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF YOUR DOCUMENTATION (TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE PAYMENT BEGINNING ON SEPTEMBER 27) IS SEPTEMBER 26, 2016.
